AIRBRUSH FUNDAMENTALS

Level: Beginner (no experience necessary)

Prerequisites: None

A true introduction to the airbrush, this course is geared toward the artists who are new to airbrushing. Perfect for those wanting to understand the basic functions and workings of the typical double action airbrush. The course will demystify the airbrush, teach students how to operate the airbrush as well as allowing hands on practice of the fundamental skills to master airbrush usage. Students are encouraged to bring their own airbrush equipment so they can practice with what will be used outside of the workshop.

Some Topics Covered:

- Equipment ability and requirements

- Proper cleaning and maintenance of the airbrush

- Hands on practice of fundamental airbrush skills

- Common troubleshooting of the airbrush

- Makeup and equipment safety

Things to Bring:

- Pen and Paper for note taking

- Airbrush equipment if already own one

Materials Supplied:

- Airbrush equipment if student does not have own

- Cleaning materials

INTRO TO BEAUTY MAKEUP

Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Prerequisites: AIRBRUSH FUNDAMENTALS or knowledge of airbrush usage

Learn the basics in airbrush makeup. This course will explain the advantages and solutions airbrush makeup provides. It starts with the discussion of how airbrush makeup works and ends with hands on practice of the techniques taught. Students will be exposed to different types of makeup products and discussions regarding specific applications.

Students are encouraged to bring their own airbrush equipment and makeup so they can practice with what will be used outside of the workshop.

- Products to use and how to mix properly

- Blending foundation successfully

- High Definition and Digital Photography applications

- Beauty, Fashion and Advertising applications

- Camouflaging scars and tattoos

- Hands on practice of airbrush makeup techniques
